General
Why choose Rhino Scoop?
Rhino Scoop is a family-run local company built for personal service, better communication than large franchise routes, consistency, and reliability. Customers are treated more like family than account numbers, there are no residential contracts, and weekly service helps keep yards cleaner, fresher, and safer.
How much does dog poop removal cost in North Texas?
Pricing depends on yard size, dog count, service frequency, and add-ons. Weekly service is usually the starting point because it keeps buildup under control. You can get your price in seconds on the quote page.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. As long as we have access to the yard, you do not need to be home. Most customers are not. We send a text before arrival and check your gate before leaving.
How does the first visit work?
If the yard has built up, the first visit removes visible waste from serviceable areas and sets a cleaner baseline. After that, recurring service keeps buildup easier to control.
Is there a contract or signup fee?
No residential contracts. You can pause, change, or cancel service under the service terms.
What service frequency should I choose?
Weekly is the usual starting point for recurring service because it keeps buildup and odor easier to control. Bi-weekly can work for low-use yards, but it does allow more buildup between visits.
What areas do you service?
Rhino Scoop lists Fort Worth, Saginaw, Keller, Haslet, Colleyville, Southlake, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, and nearby North Texas communities. You can check your route availability on the service areas page.
Can you handle gravel, turf, dirt, and rock yards?
Yes. We service grass, gravel, dirt, turf, and mixed yards. Surface type can affect visibility and cleanup time, so clear yard notes help set expectations.
Do you pick up the waste or just scoop it?
We bag the waste and place it in your trash can, or beside your garage if needed. Optional haul-away is available if you do not want it left on-site.
What if I have a locked gate?
If we cannot access the yard, we skip the visit and return on the next scheduled service. Most customers avoid this by adding simple gate notes during signup.
Do you offer deodorizer or sanitizer treatment?
Yes. Deodorizer is available for odor control after cleanup. Sanitizer plus deodorizer is the upgraded option for patios, turf, dog runs, and high-use areas.
How do I know when service is complete?
Rhino Scoop texts before service and customers can receive photos of secured gates upon request. The company also keeps gate photos for records.
What if you miss a spot or I am not happy with a visit?
Reach out quickly. Revisit requests should be made within 24 hours after the last service, and the team will do its best to resolve concerns within the service terms.
How do I pay?
Recurring clients keep a card on file, and Rhino Scoop charges after completion of service. Cash, payment apps, and personal checks are not accepted.
What if my dog is loose in the yard?
Dogs that are aggressive, anxious, territorial, or overly excited must be secured inside during service. Rhino Scoop texts before arrival so customers can keep pets safe.
Do you service commercial properties or HOAs?
Yes, commercial service may be available. Contact the team for property-specific availability, scope, and cancellation terms.
Is your crew insured and background checked?
Rhino Scoop is former state trooper owned and operated, and uses background-checked technicians, marked trucks, uniforms, and professional safety standards.
